Day 1
Transfer Sofia – Veliko Turnovo. Veliko Turnovo is one of the most ancient Bulgarian towns – ex-capital of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom (XII – XIV). Due to its rich cultural and historical heritage, authentic architecture and picturesque location, the town has become one of the most visited places of interest in Bulgaria. Day 2
Transfer Veliko Turnovo – Etura. The architectural and ethnographic complex Etura is about eight km from the center of Gabrovo. Here master craftsmen fashion beautiful gold, silver, copper, leather and wooden articles right before your eyes impress from early morning until late at the night. The waft of freshly baked bread drifts across from an old bakery and a tiny coffee shop serves streaming sweet Turkish coffee cooked in a copper pot. Pastry cooks offer delicious home-made cookies and cakes. And around this - lovely old houses, flowers on the window sills, small shops with wooden shutters and gas lanterns on the street corners.
Transfer Etura – Kazanluk, passing through the town of Kazanluk for a short sightseeing stop. The geographical center of Bulgaria - between the Stara Planina and Sredna Gora mountains - is known as the Rose Valley. For centuries the fragrant Bulgarian rose has been grown there and the attar of roses is extracted fro the production of rose oil. There, 40 years ago, in the town of Kazanluk a small Thracian Tomb was found, with murals which are of exceptional interest in the world's cultural heritage. Nowadays, after several excavations have been made, the Rose Valley has won the recognition of the Valley of Kings.
On the way back to Sofia, visit of the museum town of Koprivshtitza is a must do.
